　慰问信是指同学亲友考试失利、生病、受伤或遇到火灾、水灾、被盗等不幸事件，给对方表示慰问的信件。慰问信要写得真诚并注意措辞。要围绕一个中心，鼓励对方并让其从中得到安慰和鼓舞。写信时常包括：对不幸事件表示同情→进行安慰和帮助→鼓励其努力→再次表示同情并希望其早日复原。
