    　　尊敬的老师们、亲爱的同学们：

    　　Dear teachers and dear students，

    　　大家早上好！我是四（7）班的xx。

    　　Good morning everyone！ I am Ke Jixuan from Class 7 in Grade 4.

    　　十月的天空，风和日丽；十月的校园，热闹非凡。刚刚过完国庆，我们又迎来了每年一届属于我们少先队员的节日——10月13日中国少年先锋队建队纪念日。

    　　The sky in October is fine and warm； the campus in October is very lively. Just after the National Day， we are welcoming an annual festival which belongs to our Young Pioneers-October 13th， the anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Young Pioneer Team.

    　　从劳动童子团到共产主义儿童团，从抗日儿童团到地下少先队，再到今天的中国少年先锋队，少先队的光荣历史昭示我们：少先队事业的蓬勃发展是党的事业始终保持生机和活力的重要源泉；少年儿童的健康成长，是国家和民族永远兴旺发达的希望所在。

    　　From the Labor Boys’ League to the Communist Children’s Group， from the Anti-Japanese Children’s Group to the Underground Young Pioneers， to today’s Chinese Juvenile Pioneers， the glorious history of the Young Pioneers shows us: The vigorous development of the Young Pioneers is an important source of vitality and the vitality for the party’s cause； The healthy growth of children is the hope for the country and nation to flourish forever.

    　　少先队，我们为你自豪！在星星火炬的指引下，一代又一代的少年儿童树立理想，培养情操，茁壮成长。

    　　Young Pioneers， we are proud of you！ Under the guidance of the torch， generations of young people have established ideals， cultivated sentiments， and thrived.

    　　少先队，我们为你骄傲！在鲜红的领巾飘扬中，一批又一批的少年英雄层出不穷，用实际行动为队旗增光添彩。

    　　Young Pioneers， we are proud of you！ In the bright red scarf fluttering， batch after batch of young heroes emerged one after another， using practical actions to add luster to the team flag.

    　　今天，我们在学校读书，磨练建设祖国的本领，大家不仅要学，而且一定要学好，这是时代赋予我们的重任。

    　　Today， we are studying in school to hone our ability to build our motherland. We must not only learn， but also learn well. This is an important task entrusted to us by the times.

    　　同学们，当今科学技术已成了第一生产力，要赶上和超过别人，就必须学好文化知识，以优异的成绩向祖国汇报。

    　　Classmates， today's science and technology have become the primary productive forces. To catch up with and surpass others， you must learn cultural knowledge and report to the motherland with excellent results.

    　　看，在番外这样优越的学习环境中，同学们为了美好的明天而奋发努力，勤奋学习。佩戴着鲜艳的红领巾，我们一定要克服身上的缺点，成为有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的好学生。

    　　Look， in a superior learning environment like Fanwai， the students work hard and study hard for a better tomorrow. Wearing bright red scarves， we must overcome our shortcomings and become good students with ideals， morals， culture and discipline.

    　　俗话说，有志不在年高，每一个少先队员都应该树雄心、立壮志，向雷锋学习，以赖宁为榜样，好好学习，天天向上，让我们继承先烈遗志，奋勇攀高峰，为建设社会主义而时刻准备着！

    　　As the saying goes， every young pioneer should have ambitions and aspirations， learn from Lei Feng， take Lai Ning as an example， study hard， and make progress every day. Let us inherit the legacy of the martyrs， bravely climb the peak， and build socialism. And always be well prepared！

    　　同学们，我们是长在红旗下的幸福一代，我们是祖国的希望，我们是刚刚从地平线上升起的朝阳，生机勃勃，祖国寄希望于我们，党寄希望于我们。

    　　Classmates， we are the happy generation growing up under the red flag. We are the hope of the motherland. We are the sunrise just rising from the horizon， full of vitality. The motherland places hope on us， and the party places hope on us.

    　　10月也是我校的 “爱国主义主题教育月”。让我们在这中国少年先锋队建队日里，在五星红旗下庄严承诺：“时刻准备，振兴中华，星星火炬，代代相传！”让番外为我们自豪，为我们骄傲。

    　　October is also our school's "Patriotism Theme Education Month". Let us make a solemn promise under the five-star red flag on this day of the establishment of the Chinese Youth Pioneer Team: "Always prepare， revitalize China， and pass the torch from generation to generation！" Let PFLS be proud of us.
